Mirror…. Mirror

patience-with-mirror

Being considerate and kind is a place in you that understands all things.

When we see others around us, we are given a mirror image of ourselves.  As difficult as that may sound, know that even those that annoy you are symbols of what you once were.  These images are to see and understand where you once were and know the work you did to create the self you are now.  This reflection humbles you so you have compassion for all, for it is a realization that we are all growing into more loving, conscious beings.  You are given these tools to expand and break away your old patterns of thought.  When you encounter great beings that inspire you – that is a sign of where you are wanting to go – and when you encounter beings that challenge your patience, they are signs of where you have been yourself.  Love all of them.

After receiving these wonderful words of wisdom I read a page from “The course in miracles” that synchronistically tapped the nail on the head with confirmation of the lesson to learn:

“We are still equal as learners, although we do not need to have equal experiences.  The Holy Spirit is glad when you can learn from mine, and be reawakened by them.  That is their only purpose, and that is the only way in which I can be perceived as the pose, and that is the only way in which I can be perceived as the way, the truth and the life.  When you hear only one Voice you are never called on to sacrifice.  On the contrary, by being able to hear the Holy Spirit in others you can learn from their experiences, and can gain from them without experiencing them directly  yourself.  That is because the Holy Spirit is one, and anyone who listens is inevitably led to demonstrate His way for all.”
